So, school started today, and my life as I know it has basically ended for another 9 months, i week, and 5 days. Yes, that is how many more days are left of school. Give or take a few for some random holidays of course but still. Let's all just face it, it is forever and a day until we will be out of there. To be honest it wasn't even exciting. I mean I got to see some people that I haven't seen all summer, but nobody has really changed. We are all still the same, just different teachers and another year of school we can put under our belts. Whoop-dee doo. All my classes seem like they will be so so. My expectations are not high, because sophomore year is like the year that everyone spends waiting till summer because we can all basically drive then. So our lives will be filled with projects and speeches and endless hours of homework when all we really care about is next summer, and how we are going to spend it. I know what I am going to be doing next summer. I will (or should) be in Puerto Rico for the first 2 weeks of Summer, and I must say that I can not wait. I mean, I will be down there getting a tan, learning how to surf, and checking out hot boys. What a good start to the summer it will be. But until then, its good 'ol school, and all it has to offer. Which is a whole lot of nothing. Plus the I-Step will be coming up and we have to pass that to graduate. Fun times. Well, I guess I've basically complained about school as much as I can. But still as I complain about it, I'm thinking, man, I have to get up tomorrow and go again. And it will only be the second day of school. Not a good sign. Should be interesting to see how this school year goes.
